About the C/C++ programming examples - Guidelines

This page proposes several programming examples about how to integrate the C/C++ libraries (DLL) provided with the 8PI Control Panel software. Using these examples requires following some simple guidelines described in the document 'C Examples Guidelines' available from here (PDF).

These examples can be used as reference templates for the development of custom applications using the 8PI Control Panel libraries.
The programming examples below are provided 'as is'.

The user's guide of each library can be downloaded by clicking ont the corresponding mode of operation in the table below. The libraries user's guides are also available from the general documentation page .

C/C++

ADWG	For use with GP Series / WG Xpress. Reads a configuration file and executes a simple run.

ADWG	For use with GP Series / WG Xpress. Programs a set of patterns and loops infinitely through them.

ADWG	For use with GP Series / WG Xpress. Shows how to enter samples directly through C/C++ functions calls.

ADWG	For use with GP Series / WG Xpress. Shows how to setup a repetitive trigger upon which a set of patterns is repeated.

SPI	For use with GP Series / SPI Xpress. Shows how to setup a simple access as SPI Master and run it.

SPI	For use with GP Series / SPI Xpress. Shows how to set up multiple SPI accesses run as a single burst.

Visual Basic
ADWG	For use with GP Series / Wave Generator Xpress. Shows how to encapsulate ADWGC library functions in a Visual Basic project (Microsoft Visual Basic 2005)

LabView(R)
ADWG	For use with GP Series / Wave Generator Xpress. Shows how to encapsulate ADWGC library functions in a LabView(R) VI.

1) Examples above use libraries from 8PI Control Panel version 1.08j * UPDATED 08-JULY-2010 *.
2) Adequate license file is required to enable the designated modes of operation.
3) All examples are provided 'as is'.
